A one hour drawing performance conversation with artist Ram Samocha. The performance will start as a live visual & sound interaction between the artist and the audience and continue to a reflection on the action and a talk about drawing and performance.
Ram Samocha is an artist and independent arts curator, presently residing in Brighton, UK. In his multi‐disciplinary work Samocha combines drawing with video, installation and performance. Ram Samocha is the founder of Draw to Perform, an international organization for artists and theorists involved in drawing performance. Since 2013 Draw to Perform organized four international symposiums, worked with and support emerging and established artists, hold various events, run educational workshops and collaborations with art institutions.
