Looking to Listen: Backup Ukraine is a collaborative international residency exploring the inherent boundaries of recording and representing cultural heritage in a time of political and social upheaval. It responds to the 3D scans of monuments, works of architecture and everyday artefacts contributed by Ukrainian citizens to the online digital archive, Backup Ukraine. 

This exploratory work aims to develop conversations and material explorations that reveal, interpret and translate the stories and meanings embedded within the archive.
