Proposal:

To present an opportunity for public engagement and interaction - Rather than producing a more traditional video work or a lecture/discussion format. - that extends beyond both the gallery and the format. An attempt to create an archival participation. This will be achieved by creating small artifacts to be handed out to visitors to the gallery during the duration of the event or until there are no further.

The small artefact, or rather artwork, will be a series of abstracts from the sources of research discussed in the original proposal and will directly engage with the questions and issues posed in the first instance. These abstracts will be fully referenced and will be the starting points of discussion. In an attempt not only to engage visitors with the artwork, but with the wider research.

Within the artwork, there will be further options to continue conversation or to engage in an entirely new conversation across more social media formats and through the internet. This will be achieved by supplying information on potential articles for research and certain dedicated social media cruxes to further drive engagement and discussion.
